Community Passport

The community passport was developed as a tool for community service providers and refugee clients to better track important information and avoid duplication of services.

We hope this effort will help make better use of service providers time, as well offer a useful booklet for refugee clients to utilize on their journey to self-sufficiency.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the International Rescue Committee of Salt Lake for the idea.

The Community Passport will be piloted from December 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011, with a select group of more recently arrived refugees.

After the pilot phase, information will be gathered from passport holders and community service providers alike to determine any changes to implementation or to the actual document that needs to take place.

Below is the Passport file, embedded for your information. Please do not print this file for client purposes, as we are keeping close track of who has them in order to evaluate the pilot accurately.

Let us know what you think

The Community Passport Project is in its trial phase. During this phase, people who arrive as refugees, as well as earlier arrivals, received the passport. We would like to know what the community thinks of the passport, including ways we can improve it. Use this form to send us a message with your ideas.
