Data Management Specialist: Part to Full Time, Full Benefits Package


OPEN POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:
Data Management Specialist

Closing Date: February 11, 2011

The Idaho Office for Refugees in Boise seeks a specialist in data management to support its organizational mission.

Primary job duties include the following:

  • manage refugee data system

  • analyze data on refugees in Idaho

  • assure data integrity system-wide

  • maintain and update information system user manual

  • provide training and technical assistance to information system users

  • assist in preparation of reports

  • prepare ad hoc reports

  • respond to information requests from the public

  • assist in assessing statewide need for refugee services

  • assist in conducting ongoing evaluation of project performance

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of computer systems and experience with custom applications; hands-on experience with MS Access,
MS Reporting Services and SQL Server Enterprise Manager; excellent verbal and written skills; excellent time management skills; and the ability to apply methods
of statistical analysis. Bachelor’s degree required.

This is a part-to full-time position with a full benefits package. Salary will commensurate with knowledge and experience.
