Welcome to the Idaho Office for Refugees

Refugee Resettlement Services in Idaho

Agency for New Americans
Agency for New Americans provides case management, employability services, immigration services and local eligibility determination for Transitional Refugee Assistance under agreement with the Idaho Office for Refugees.  Under other funding, ANA provides initial reception and placement services, Matching Grant assistance and services, services to women and youth, micro enterprise development and other services and assistance to refugees.

World Relief
World Relief provides case management, employability services, local eligibility determination for Transitional Refugee Assistance, immigration services and services to older refugees under contract with the Idaho Office for Refugees.  In addition, World Relief provides initial reception and placement services, Matching Grant assistance and services, and other services and assistance under other funding sources.

International Rescue Committee
The International Rescue Committee provides local eligibility determination for Transitional Refugee Assistance under contract with the Idaho Office for Refugees.  In addition, the IRC provides initial reception and placement services, Matching Grant assistance and services, case management, employability services and other services and assistance under other funding sources.

English Language Center
The English Language Center provides language learning opportunities for adult refugees and supports attendance of parents by providing on-site childcare for young children.  In addition, the ELC offers specialized activities for older refugees, vocational English classes for working refugees to promote continued language development and citizenship preparation classes.  The English Language Center includes a computer lab for computer assisted learning and has developed a curriculum for addressing mental health issues of refugees within the ELT environment.

CSI Refugee Services-Twin Falls
CSI Refugee Programs in Twin Falls provides case management, English language training, employability services and local eligibility determination for Transitional Refugee Assistance under contract with IOR.  CSI also manages two a program of services to older refugees, which promotes the integration of refugee seniors into the mainstream aging network.  Under a separate funding source, CSI provides initial reception and placement services.

The Idaho Refugee Health Screening Program
The Idaho Refugee Health Screening Program provides initial medical screening and follow-up for newly arriving refugees through a statewide network of public health agencies.  This program also provides health education and promotes access to health care for newly arrived refugees.
