The Refugee Speakers Bureau of the Idaho Office for Refugees is pleased to invite you to our next storytelling workshop! This is a great opportunity for people to connect across cultural backgrounds and gain skills for public speaking and sharing our stories in a purposeful and meaningful way. The workshop is open to adult participants whether you have a refugee or immigrant background or were born in the U.S. When: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, May 10 Where: Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, 777 8th Street, Boise, ID 83702 Please sign up here. There is no cost to participate. Details: The workshop will be led by Story Story Night Guide Jessica Holmes, a talented storyteller who co-founded Story Story Night in Boise. It’ll be an interactive process with guide sheets to work through individually and group interaction. The process will help participants identify which stories you want to share from your life and how to do that in an engaging and compelling way. Jessica will guide the group through:
