Help with Housing
If you would like to explore renting out a room or property that you own in the Boise or Twin Falls areas, please sign up through the local House Your Neighbor initiative. You can also donate toward housing needs and become a co-signer.

Become a Sponsor
New avenues for private sponsorship of refugee resettlement are now available in the U.S.:
  • Support new Afghan neighbors: www.sponsorcircles.org
  • Visit the Welcome Connect platform, which matches interested U.S. sponsors with displaced Ukrainians.
  • Join together with a group of friends or an organization to sponsor a refugee's arrival and first 90 days in the U.S. through the new Welcome Corps initiative.
Resources for sponsors:
  • Interested sponsors can find support, guidance and a nationwide community through the Refugee Welcome Collective.
  • See CORE's Cultural Orientation Toolkit for community partners and sponsors.

Resettlement Agencies
There are lots of ways to volunteer in Boise and Twin Falls. You might be able to help teach English, set up apartments, or sponsor a family as they get acclimated to Idaho. Can’t volunteer? Donations go directly to family support!
