- Apply for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
- Apply for WIC (Nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children)

Please note that H.R. 1, or the One Big Beautiful Bill, passed on July 4, 2025, and revokes eligibility for SNAP benefits for refugees and asylees before they obtain a green card.
Federal guidelines allow up to four months for states to implement SNAP eligibility changes, and current SNAP recipients are unlikely to be impacted until their next recertification. Different states may implement the changes at different times. (Source: Church World Service)
