Culinary Experiences
Idaho Office for Refugees is partnering with the Idaho Museum of International Diaspora and The Idaho Foodbank to bring free cultural culinary experiences to the community.
Southern Lao Food Extravaganza!
Date: Wednesday, Nov. 11 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Idaho Foodbank's Demonstration Kitchen - 3630 E Commercial Ct, Meridian, ID 83642
Register: This is a no-charge event, but registration is required. A $15 suggested donation for each adult participant is requested to help buy supplies and continue this program. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay.
Dinner included. All ages welcome!
Featured dishes: Sticky rice with eggplant dipping sauce, papaya salad, chicken goi, egg rolls with dipping sauce, and an assortment of exotic Southeast Asian vegetables! Recipes available for attendees.
Featured Cook: Palina Louangketh: "Food is a form of artistic and cultural expression that knows no boundaries. I am thrilled to cook, showcase, and share the many flavors of Laos with you."
