UPDATE: You can watch a recording of the webinar here. Over the past few weeks, Idahoans have shown support and compassion for our allies and other vulnerable people, including children, from Afghanistan. To connect our community and provide updates, Idaho’s resettlement agencies and partners will host a virtual panel detailing our state's role in this situation and giving people a chance to hear from Idahoans who have been directly impacted. The hourlong webinar will feature four panelists with direct ties and personal experience with this issue.
All are welcome. Attendees will be able to submit written questions to panelists during the discussion, and a recording of the webinar will be posted to the Idaho Office for Refugee's YouTube page. PANELISTS:
This event is supported by the Idaho Office for Refugees, International Rescue Committee in Boise, Agency for New Americans and the College of Southern Idaho Refugee Programs. I’d like to keep informed about this program. I won’t be able to donate much as I’m on a limited budget. I’m super busy with many other volunteer positions so not much time either. I do really care about our friends from Afghanistan and want to welcome them to Idaho in any way that I can.
